Depends what field you're in.

It totally does I agree wholeheartedly.  My degree is in business with a major in management...My job is a manager...it works.

I did half a year. I quit because I couldn't afford it and I couldn't apply for grants with out parental tax information. My parents didn't want to do this one simple thing for me, so I was SOL. I probably don't need their information now, buttfuckit.

Thats how I cleaned up...finally having a broke ass single mom worked out for me it only took 19 years lol.  Her combined 40k working three jobs with two kids in school made us eligble for a ton of grants...then I had to fuck it up by getting raises and moving out...stupid me.

Yup.  I'm a very bitter guy when it comes to college.  lol... I jumped through the hoops, but looking back, what a facking waste.  I coulda gone to 100 gatherings with the money I'd save by not going.

Same here. I'm the only person I know who absolutely HATED every last second that I spent in college. I literally can't say a single positive thing about my experience in college. Worst decision of my life was to spend 4 years wasting time and money when I could have been building a career. At least I had a full ride scholarship so I didn't go into nearly as much debt as most people do.

My Political Science teacher was very proud of the fact that he payed for every bit of his college out of his pockets. Though, he came up during a different time (I was shocked to find out how old he was, he doesn't look nor act his age) he was still very proud of the fact that he paid for his education with out taking advantage of racially charged scholarships.

I guess he also quit working at the University to work at the community college because the kids in the University were snobby and stuck up.

He was also the only teacher that I actually felt taught me something. We never used the book.
