So when will the leak drop? 25th That's one thing that pisses me off. Make the ep on available in the boxset just to make money then when it runs it's course it'll be up on hatchetgear for a "limited time" but they will end up selling it 10 years from now.

That does seem likely. But I see the EP as a bonus for buying the box set, not as a rouse to get you to buy it. Of course there's gonna be an illegal download available for the EP just like there is for all of their other releases. For the collectors that actually want a physical copy of it, most of them probably want a box set of the 6 cards anyway. People have been asking for a box set for years now, they wouldn't invest in making it if it wasn't gonna sell.

and now i'm gonna be performin at Juggalo Day WHUT

Im pretty mad how they handled this whole box set thing, yes I get the delays in dealing with island etc.. thats fine and understandable. But first they said bonus tracks and out takes from each era, now this isn't happening. And that wouldn't even be a big deal if they released those tracks on ff3 4 and 5 but no they jam them with new shit songs and recycled remixes etc.... They never explicitly said it would be remastered in the ads and on hg although they hinted at it when it was announced. And again this might not be icps fault but in that tour of HG and the offices they had no idea the box set wasn't released and looked shocked. Also will they be slipcases or jewel cases for thr albums included? I just hate the lack of transparency and info regarding this. I mean its not some 30-40 dollar item.

That's why Juggalo's need to start downloading the shit instead of feeding more money to PSY. The more we feed it the more shittier it's just going to get. It just sucks so many juggalos are programmed to buy anything ICP puts out. Even if it sucks they have to have it. I stopped buying cd's after hells pit. Once I heard the calm that was it. I haven't liked anything enough to buy it. J has always been money hungry, he's a savage with that shit and he knows how brainwashed he has juggalos. The music doesn't lie.. Look at everything after the jokers card. Alot of the music has truly sucked, and released really fast. How do you drop shangrila and hells pit 2 albums that gave you a shit ton of fans, money, and some of your best work and just start making utter shit since then?

I rather invest in artists that deserve it. That are up and coming.

I pretty much stopped lbumping icp and listen to Yelawolf and Rittz now, two of my fave rappers.

As far as future stuff I think the music will be fine, but will J be able to keep up? Hes on a big pun like trajectory with his weight. And im not saying that as a knock on him, shit im not some insanely in shape person but its becoming a determent to his stage show, breath control and just overall life, and he isn't getting younger. Also dunno what else is out there as far as talent but PSY needs something else on the label. A lot of horror core sucks, and i doubt anything beyond that scope will work o PSY so dunno what they will do.

I think lots of juggalos are brain washed. Not Lucky, but I'm pretty damn sure that lots of juggalos just buy the shit out of pure dedication.

It's like, my room mate admitted that he'd never have gave Eminem's music a chance if Eminem had teamed up with ICP. He buys tons of movies or merch or music because specific artists he's really into endorse it. Trashes horrorcore and believes it to be tasteless shock value with nothing behind it except for when Eminem or Kanye or Flatbush Zombies or Wu Tang Clan or Slaughter House or Tyler, The Creator or Ice Cube do it. I mean, praising over priced headphones as if they are blessed by Jesus just because Dr. Dre's name is on it sounds pretty brain washed to me.

So if people from the mainstream can be brain washed to like everything that the mainstream shoves down their throats than it's not hard to believe that juggalos could be brain washed to like everything that is shoved down their throats too.

Either way, I would sparingly use the word brain washed to describe musical preference because it gets way too over used by ignorant people who just can't take the idea of people actually having a different taste in music. Or movies. Or books. Or art. Or vaginas. I think most people that continue to support what ever music genuinely enjoy that music.

That being said, I bumped MDP like two or three times after it came out and it's magic was already gone. Not a bad album, but just not for me. And most juggalos actually do download the music. Most people usually download the fuckin' leak then buy the album if they loved it. Trust me, pay attention to the forum when a new album drops. Somebody will get it a day or two or maybe even a week early through Hatchet Gear and they will share links to everybody else in PMs and we will all be discussing our opinions of the album before the album is officially released.

Like I said though, that whole "you're brain washed because you like music I don't like" is pretty much bullshit anyways.

I'm not meaning it in that type of way. There's always tons of juggalos/lettes that act like straight up idiots, no common sense and just whoop whoop everything. I'm not bashing anybody really whatever ya'll like, don't like it's whatever. It's your musical choice. Killjoy was alright. Beats were dope. I wish they took more time on it though. I don't really know what to say about Lotus, I didn't hate it or love it it's just kinda there. I grew up on this music basically, and to still be here listening after all these years is still crazy. I still get that feeling when an album is about to release. I guess i'm just disappointed. There's nothing wrong with that though. Just like if someone here said they like backstreet boys. I honestly could care less. There are def tons of juggalos that just buy shit to buy it tho. J could make an hour length cd saying fuck you on every single track and thats all he says and puts "limited edition" on the front case and people would eat that shit up.

I don't buy albums from ICP because out of all the music they've dropped I don't feel it deserves my money. I get bored with it really fast. Honestly, I prefer finding indy rappers or rock groups. So much good shit out there. The thing with J is, he's either a hit or miss on an album. I guess all acts are like that tho who knows. Either way, I still like them, and like some of the music but most of the time i'm still like meh.

I agree. With most of it. I liked Lotus and I don't get that feeling anymore.

Cause you gotta realize dude this isn't my first rodeo listening to icp. I been listening to them since 96-97... There's very few of us left. All the ones that listened to ICP that I know of, are gone.  Or just disappointed like me. Everytime I burn my friend a copy of an icp album (he dont have internet or a job) so I just burn him the shit to check it out. He's like oh man this shits so wack lol

They lost alot of fans when BPB came out. i'll always be around no matter what tho checking them out. They helped me in times of my life I was going through. Certain songs just have a feeling to me. I guess that's why i miss the "wicked shit" because of how much I could relate. Especially hells pit.

As someone who's been down since 94, here's my best advice to you.  Take some time away... I'm not saying quit listening all together, just less often. Stop coming here or any other juggalo sites (not that I have any problem with you) and just live your life without all the juggalo bs for awhile. It's what I did, in 2005, I just quit going to shows, I quit going to juggalo sites (I'd check faygoluvers like once every 3 months just to catch up on news) and I quit anticipating new CD's. Usually by the time I realized something new was out it had already been out for a month or so and I wouldn't rush to listen to it, I'd just wait till I had time to give it a chance. Now, this year, life started getting a lil rough and finally, when I needed it, the magic of it all started drawing me back in and now I feel like I did back in my younger years as a juggalo. Went to 2 shows this year, posting here, anticipating new CDs again.  Taking that time away though gave me a new found appreciation for the music and everything.

So, the boxset has been officially released. I hope this inclement weather doesn't get in the way of shipping.

I'm surprised nobody has reviewed it or the House of Wax EP. I'm extremely curious to know the details of the contents, and hear some new material.
