I believe Vanilla Ice officially retired from making new music awhile back. Seems I read something to that effect at least. I don't know who I'd like to see em sign though. As long as they're not signing people just to sign em. Problem is these days even most of the underground peeps have their own label and shit. I've heard this new dude Lyte is pretty talented (even saw an article from a couple years ago comparing him to Eminem). From what I've heard the voice is a lil annoying at first (you can get used to a voice after a few listens, look at Eminem and Madchild) but the flow was outstanding. Subject matter in his old shit doesn't fit at all with Psychopathic's typical thing though. Obviously, that could easily change now that he's with them. Ultimately, as long as ICP's still making music that's all they really need. That's the biggest difference between them and MNE. Twiztid's talented and they put out good music but they can't carry a label all by themselves the way ICP can and has for many years in the past.

Prozak....sorry but strange doesn't use him right. He is too talented to be a mid card guy.Brother lynch hung ( he is a free agent now right)
I would have said keep bonez and work on his solo project but too late for that.
Hopsin but guy is too egotistical and has to be the boss.
Prozak and lynch for sure...
What about insane e? Or uhhh mr whomp whomp
insane e would be a hilarious move, he has been doing artwork for mne for awhile now. it would be like the young wicked thing...kina sorta

Other than the novelty of it, is anybody really clamoring for a Vanilla Ice album? Have you ever actually enjoyed very much of his music or thought he was dope? "Ice Ice Baby" aside, having the word "vanilla" in his name is pretty fitting given how unremarkable he is as a vocalist.
Also, I'm serious when I said they should sign me. Not only would I have my wife and I's thing going, I make music in a variety of styles and could be used as a producer of sorts to help out with the other groups, including ICP themselves.

I think overall I wouldn't call Vanilla Ice a good rapper. Actually he is kind of the stereotype of a wack MC, I'd say, which is quite funny to me. Like, when he talks casually he says stuff like "it's simple like a pimple" or "yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery".. But I do like him and a bunch of songs he did.
I genuinely like the song Hooked from his first album, BOOM with the Bloodhound Gang, Prozac (which has the same verses) and Too Cold (metal Ice Ice Baby remix) from Hard To Swollow are pretty cool.
The Hip-Hop portion of Bi-Polar is also pretty dope for the most part. Like the song Noah Fence posted (which is a remake of an Insane Poetry song and even features Cyco). Other good songs from that album are Insane Killas (with ICP and La The Darkman from the Wu Tang family), Elvis Killed Kennedy (with Chuck D from Public Enemy no less!!), Unbreakable (also with La), and The Weed Song is pretty fun.
I also think Mind Blowin' is a dope album. He might be trying a bit to hard to adopt a style that isn't naturally his, but I like the outcome. E.g. :
His last album was utter shit, though. I wouldn't expect him to drop a good album on Psy, if he'll ever drop one. I'd still like to see it, though, just for the novelty, like you said. But one would probably be enough.

If V-Ice came as hard as he did in Boom even 50% of the time he would be in the all-time top 5. All-time. Truth told, the magic isn't in his studio work it is in his live performances. Vanilla live is magical.
As for PSY... lost cause? I mean ICP is the shit and Juggalos are forever number one... but PSY has been a joke for years. They put out shit albums and barely tour and push fugly merch. The "talent" they sign is mismanaged at best, often embarrassing. PSY hasn't put out a good album in years. They were once number one imo. They have fallen so far I can't even conceive of an act they could sign to redeem the label. They should restructure, rebrand and retire the imprint permanently.
That said... Body Bag Syndikate, duh.

Dj Paul , V-ice , and Cold 187 were all definitley headed in the right direction!
However if PSY wants new talent there is one group that would pump the label up like steroids! And that group is $UICIDE BOY$!!!!!! Some one back me on this and get the word out. Lets atleast get them to the gathering please

Vanilla Ice live to me was a solid enough spectacle, saw him like 3 times. Not really magic though. He has a great drummer (some douche I recently worked with claimed that his drummer steals other drummer's stuff..I didn't even know that was a thing but I don't fucking belive him either way).
I saw him with friends at a casino in NY that was pretty small overall. Pretty fun and he ended with covers of Southwest Voodoo and How Many Times? I thought that was half pandering and half awesome respect.
My wife got photos with him after and he was super blazed. If she has the photos available I'll try and post em on here.

if something can be said to be owned by somebody, then somebody somewhere will steal it, if they can.
I thought that was half pandering and half awesome respect.
ya know, this is how i feel, every time.
for instance, when bands at gatherings or tours whoop at us, or chant family, or any of that shit. part of me says, 'cheap!', and part of me says, 'nice that youre tryin to be cool, anyway.'
on the whole, id rather bands didnt pander to us like that. if they really feel it, then, sure. but when you hear about guys whoopin at us just to keep us from gettin bored or turnin on em... cmon.
thing is, though, juggalos turn on mufuckas. often without a good reason. so.

I remember Juggs turning on this metal band called The Organ Grinders at 2001 Tole do GOTJ. I did not understand it. I stood there, young as fuck, yelling shit at US. I thought the rain of debris they showered at these dudes was a disgrace and not earned. Far worse bands deserved that hail of debris but didn't get it.
The only Juggalo Flip-Out I understood was Bubba Sparx. Fuck that guy. Plus we were tripping hard on Coricidin. How dare he fuck with our trip lol.. we laughed and had more fun screaming at Bubba with the crowd, so I guess I understood the hail of debris appeal that moment. "When Mob Mentality Makes Sense", I guess.
