I don't like AMB either but Otis seems to be getting much better. I still wouldn't listen to one of their albums by choice but it's clear that he's at least trying to improve. Rap aside, the dude can produce the fuck out of some music. A lot of producers that Psychopathic uses have a very manufactured, perfectly polished sound but his have a minimalist quality that really force the lyrics to the foreground.

hopefully amb has nothing to do with the album. I can't take either of those retarded crackheads seriously.
i agree.
catch and kill was the one jarring moment in house of wax, to me. sounded like all the sudden the wrong cd was playing.
as it ended, i almost heard, 'and now, back to your regularly scheduled music'.
and no, i do not credit lil spooky as a producer, either.
knew i wasnt gonna like it as soon as i heard the faux guitar, and a slow beat with the ridiculously overused tickatickatickaticka neurotically repetitive hats, that every wannabe chopper has to have in order to keep track of syllables. cheap, transparent, way too common, and worst of all, not what i like to listen to.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

i dont feel like chasin down wiki contributors to figure out if that editor was a reasonable source or not, so yeah, grain of salt.
this is an icp album were talkin bout. should be j, shaggs, mike and legz [who was conspicuously absent from house of wax...].
outsider producers just clutter things up, and dilute the quality. see my above notes.

What sucks for me is all I care about is the music. Especially the new. We used to get excited and enjoy it. Now we just look at them with cynicism and when they come out instead of really understanding the. We're like "oh there's a song where they say fuck you.... He must be dissing violent j with all his pent up anger." Very obnoxious. Is that all they're about now? I don't think so. So I defend my beliefs. Since clearly were not going to have an interesting conversation. And at this point in time where else could one go to discuss this music?
Maybe the hypothetical beef is an interesting topic. We all seem to be interested in it.
Also, notice how Twiztid pointed out that The Darkness out sold Abominationz in it's first week? Totally a diss to Psychopathic since they fucked up the order and drastically lowered the first week sales of Abominationz. (that actually did happen too)
Beef, it's just there in the air.

I like AMB, but they did kind of screw up Catch And Kill. Otis's singing was just god awful on that song. It completely clashed with the rest of what was on there.
Also, their beats, still dope, are kind of simple and predictable. I don't hate them they are definitely dope, but I stick with Scruffy's side on wanting Mike to produce it.
I hope they go back to more angry music again. House Of Wax (the theme song) didn't even sound wicked, nor did Bang Pow Boom, nor did Death Pop. I'm not asking for a Riddle Box, I'm asking for some wicked shit with actual wicked beats. Something I won't get bored of in a month.
Then again, something that might bore me in a month might just be exactly what another fan was looking for.

I would definitely prefer Mike E do it but they could do MUCH worse than Otis as a producer. I think simple beats have worked and can work again for ICP. Which is why I wouldn't necessarily hate Otis behind the scenes. Sure his beats are simple as fuck but, like I said before, simple beats like his push the lyrics front and center. When I listen to ICP I don't want to be distracted by thirty layers of organs and Legz Diamond's shitty-ass, 80s power metal solos like I did on Shangri-La. I want to hear some basic ass clowny beats and ICP doing their thing over top of them. As far as producers they use, the only ones I think could do that well are Mike E and Otis.

I have a few theory's aside from the delay
1.the push will begin with the launch of psychopathic radio in a few days
2.Unlike MDP which was a really big event, with multiple versions and pretty big name guest features, this one is just two stand alone records, and they are not bothering with all the articles and interviews because they know that non juggalos wont like it/or will get offended by it, perhaps it could be a much darker and more vulgar album then MDP
