No, u just like it when he opens his throat wide for an extended time. If u two hook up at the gathering, can i watch while i crank one out, i wont be long!

You gotta ask my girl, she also likes the yodeling canary and we share a tent, so it might be crowded.

If u cant figure it out after this video then u are deaf. He elongates almost everyword at the end of a sentence everytime madrox is bout to start rappin.

I mean, this is a 46 minute video. Can you just say at "mins:secs" is a good example? I've skimmed through, noticing some things that aren't quite like the album recordings, but, nothing I can recognize as "yodeling".

well, it aint actual yodeling.  that label is for humor purposes.

the 'not quite like the album' bits?  especially the stretched out bits at the ends of lines, that are waaaaay unliiiiike?

thats what were talkin bout.

Maybe u can just leave the zipper of the tent open a lil and i can peek in. If not guess ill have to do ninja tactics and make a peephole, fingers crossed it turns into a gloryhole

Sorry to do that for ya, i just watched the 1st two songs and saw he was starting wit already. Others have posted smaller vids in this thread, so check them out. Like scruffy said its not yodeling, its just draggin out the word at the end of a sentence. Nothing is wrong wit doing that, but he does it almost every line. It is similar to violent j's "wooooooo" he likes to use, which is getting annoying aswell. VJ needs to go back to doin clown giggles and anger noises

Gotcha, yeah I think I'm hearing what you guys are talking about and can see how that would get old throughout the concert. What struck me as a little disappointing seeing these Twiztid videos is that both Jamie and Monoxide basically just split every other rhyme or so and you never really get to see them rap live like they do on the albums.

Icp does that too, the whole split lines thingy. I believe its becuz  they wanna, or need to, do as many songs as possible. That requires them not to perform whole songs, otherwise they would be onstage for like 6 hours

more this, than anything else.  far as why they switchoff.

i think what spooky is talkin bout, is choppin verses and refrains outta songs, to save time on the setlist.

I just wanna chime in on cutting songs short. I would much rather hear 2 or 3 verses of a full song and get less songs than just the first verse and get more... On the world of webs tour they only did the first verse of Hom Sha Bom, it was the biggest cock tease ever.

and Tech always does just choruses and the crowd gets hyped... then a huge let down. I walked away from tech's set last year when he just did the chorus to t9x

shortened live versions suck and they only seem to exist in rap. i can't recall any time i have gone to a metal show and seen the band play a 30 second snippet of a song unless it was part of a medley.

also, they swap off to perserve stamina for sure. those lights, jumping around, rapping and whatnot shit gets to ya. but they do it a lot, maybe it is just more fun for them that way?

I'm happy there's a thread about this because its bothered me for fucking years and like somebody else said its almost like he doesnt even realize he's doing it. The whole trading bar for bar thing is something they got from ICP, also the not performing the whole song thing.

Yeah, cuz ICP are the only rappers to do that at live shows.

I think its just something that he personally likes doing.  He enjoys hearing his own voice all long and echoy throughout the venue.  But yeah shit gets mad old.  And I'm almost positive, he could give an inch of a fuck if we like it or not!  haha

I wish he still did his Brunch and Bakes.

to be entirely fair to bc313, Twiztid toured with and worked under ICP for a long while, so they probably picked up a lot of stuff that is fairly common, from them directly.

If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

I know other rappers do it, but c'mon they toured with icp for 2 years straight you gotta think they picked it up from them.

I think with Twiztid their new shit has had a lot more melodic parts as opposed to just spitting sick bars; and Monoxide can't sing for shit. That's probably as close as he can get to holding a tune
