I have yet to investigate the legitimacy of this, but the overall poor quality of the article itself leads me to believe it's either utter BS or a "Cause" the author is riding to get views. The bio of the writer lends credence the the latter:

Oh my god... Hahaha... Now, I'll grant you, I don't know any black atheist liberals, seems a pretty specific cultural subset... But from another article:

Actually, I've heard multiple accounts of Faygo not liking being associated with ICP, which is why there's no sponsorship. However, as noted, without ICP Faygo likely wouldn't exist anymore, and I'm sure the company realizes this - which is why they'd never outright shun ICP. It's not like Juggalos are the only thing keeping Faygo from competing with Coke and Pepsi.
Oh, and props for being the 1%, @chieflocc . lol.

I dunno about that, Smack, Faygo still being in business that is... There are SO many budget beverages (as you alluded to) that share the same market with Faygo nowadays, I think they could've found themselves struggling at some point during ICP's career without the infamy it gained them. Would it have been enough to put them out of business as a company? No way to know.
I hadn't heard that about the Xmas cards, whether true or not, that's pretty damn funny heh.
