okay Scruffo, to become a Budtender, one must:

~ become a legal Colorado resident with ID.

~ go to Denver or Colorado Springs and apply for an MED Support or Key badge

~ pay $150 for that bitch, non-refundable. Gotta renew it in two years. But they pay you back supposedly after like three months service.

~ pass a ten year background check. No felonies... i had an assault charge in 2005 but it was sealed so i still made it.

~ wait like two weeks for the badge before you can start.

~ find a dispensary to work at. I could get you a job easy if you pass all those above requirements.

the perks are great for herb~lovers. shit, my neighbor just gives my wife homegrown joints whenever she sees her. we got like four left. The community is the shit. We are in a trailer park selling herb lol. One regular medical patient just gave me.some Blue Dream two days ago, just because. Another med lady was sympathetix to my moms cancer when she visited, and gave me a whole tray of homemade infused brownies for her. She loved em lol.

Im keeping a log of the stories... maybe ill publish it some day. Maybe ill write it too lol

Blue Dreams the best OMD. Enjoy. rasta_gif

And my vote will go to the ninja who pieces this (FLH Forum Awards) all together and collects and tallies up the votes. That'll be my only vote.

Smack: read what Lucky said. To legally obtain herb at my or any other Colorado dispensary, you need only a valid photo ID showing you are 21 years old or older. Any state. Or use a passport, like the Netherlands fellow did one day.

Thats it.

To buy medical, not recreational, you need to get a med card. You can get it in other states, but our med has to be Colorado med. We have one half of the store med, one rec.

Med patients get to have plants grown according to their count, based on medical ailment. Anyone can get a card, Colorado residents. They also get cheaper prices, MUCH lower sales tax, access to higher milligram edibles than recreationals, and more. We value our med patients and give them an additional 10% off purchases and deals on rec stuff. The whole month of December, our med members who sign up get 20% off everything.

The cops here are fully supportive. One guy in particular is the coolest cop ive ever met. We talk when.we see eachother outside of work like nothings wrong.

The tax money goes to support things in our state like new schools. In our tiny community that was devasted by a flood last year, our revenue has begun paying back the hundreds of thousands of dollars we needed to pay for the towns tainted water resupply. It is the best thing to happen to the town in forever.

The owner has a special needs son who has shown significantly positive responses from CBD oil for his seizures. Nothing else works.

Or you can just grown your own at home. We have that right to cultivate our own plants. The lady I mentioned that gives my wife free joints, well she doesnt even.come to.my store since she grows her own. The shop.is a quarter mile away. Thats her right, and her choice.

^ This is just the beginning. Winner of the Juggalo of the Year award: Colorado.

ALSO: to meet with the doctor and obtain your medical marijuana card costs as little as $50 and no more than $130.

Chew on that, Mr. Smack. Chewy chewy

Create something and people want to change it to make it their own... Fuck you need 10 other categories for? Fuck is acknowledging a rookie good for? Fuck is acknowledging most annoying good for? The Juggalo of the year category is the single thing you need to acknowledge the single person who's done the most positive and or negative on the forum. It's akin to Man of the Year. Wasn't even annual you made it a week early. Person who created this you failed. Who's done anything worth mentioning this year by way? The two people who were at war in every thread? The three mods stopping the spammers. You got five people to pick from.

Congrats GanjaGoblin.

In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is true that man has no control; even over his own will.

Congrats GanjaGoblin.

In that case, I would have to say my choice is between @ganjagoblin and @scruffy.

GanjaGoblin being the one who added so much to the forum in a coding sense. He has done a lot of work behind the scenes.

Scruffy went out of his way to actually visit some down and out Juggalos who needed some help. Doing good for the fam, that kind of shit.

as ive pointed out before, i dont credit the other categories, except for shits and grins.  and theres nothin wrong with that.

i do credit the rookie category...  but they only get a tiny little plaque, not a big fresh one.

i'm so jealous of you bro. I would move to Colorado just for the weed, but national legalization is probably around the corner....? Anyways, I asked the guy who told me about that strain, "why do they call it elephant weed?" he said one hit would knock my dick in the dirt, and i'd feel like i'd been stepped on by an elephant, lol.  think he sad it's popular in Hawaii.

I've heard of various different names for various strains that seem to be a local naming thing.

I am not a weed expert but when it comes down to it I think the effect really has to do with the ratio and amount of THC vs THCA vs CBD vs CBN. I've even read some stuff about the delta 9 isomer of THC having a different effect than regular THC. The taste can vary a lot based on a lot of factors from the nutrition that the plant had to the genetic makeup of the plant.

Also, the method of ingestion can change the effects. Consumption via pyrolysis, decarboxylation, oral ingestion, etc.  have different effects.

Actually, I would like @old-mr-dangerous to chime in since he is more than likely our resident expert. I only smoke once a year for a few days in July or August depending on GOTJ dates and the information I have is from stuff I have read over the years. Some of which was written in the 60's and 70's so it could be very outdated.

youre right there, Psyral. The concentrates like shatter and wax are usually high in THC-a as opposed to flower smoke being high in THC. We carried a CBD strain called Otto that was great for pain. A fellow that has the fucking awful curse of chronic kidney stones likes to use it. We are all out at the moment.

Heres some key phrases to Google since im strapped for time today..

Charlotte's Web CBD... crazy story

keep checking our Green Stop website, its almost ready. Got some kinks to work out, but soon.

quickly i will add that physical consumption is as different from smoking flower as doing dabs is as different from wearing a CBD patch. CBN is one of the only other cannabinoids thats psychoactive like THC, but much much less. almOST not at all.

hey Smack, two French speaking Quebec fellows came in yesterday. They said that there was nothing like our shop back in Quebec. They loved it and may come.back. I think they bought a gram of Durban Poison and some papers.
