Randy Blythe of Lamb of God Would Play the Gathering of the Juggalos

It has been revealed via Randy Blythe photography Instagram account that he is open to playing the Gathering of the Juggalos. For those of you who do not know Randy is the vocalist for Lamb of God.

This information was stated after he made two posts that involved photos from ICP‘s performance at Rock Fest.

The first Instagram post which features a shot of Violent J and Faygo he said:

“Uh-oh” Cadott, WI. These mofos were COMPLETELY off the chain. Holy shit.

In the second post he stated the following:

“Whoop- Whoop” Cadott, WI. Last night I posted a picture of large amounts of Faygo on stage, a cheap soda from Detroit. This is because @willadler & I walked over to watch Insane Clown Posse play. These dudes & their fans (known as “juggalos”) were COMPLETELY out of order- it was AMAZING to watch. There were like 15 clowns running all over the place spraying 2 liters of Faygo EVERYWHERE for a solid hour. It NEVER stopped. In fact, every now & then, some crazy circus music would come on & they would yell “FAYGO BREAK!” & then they would dump buckets of Faygo on the crowd- Faygo BREAK? WTF are you talking about “break”? I never saw it stop- there was no need for a “break” at all. They also had chicken feathers, confetti, streamers- all sortsa shit. It was a really messy sensory overload. Juggalos catch a lot of shit, even within the broader so-called “subculture”- why? Because they like something you don’t? I don’t agree with that crap. That’s the high school sheep mentality, something that the so-called “underground” is not supposed to be about. So while I do not understand the whole Faygo thing, & I will not be putting on clown makeup or twisting my hair up in rainbow-colored cornrows anytime soon, I don’t have to, & that’s ok. I still respect these people, because they do not give a FUCK what other people think about them, & they were all clearly having a blast together- and ICP’s crew were really cool to us. I would play the Gathering of the Juggalos in a heartbeat. If you get a chance, go see @therealicp play- they put on a freaking SHOW, & it’s an experience for sure. Just don’t wear any good clothes.

This dude probably wasnt the only member of a band on the bill that went to check them out, he just had the balls to actually admit it. Sounds like he went to see them for 10 minutes and ended up staying for most of the show and really dug it.
Playing festivals puts ICP in front of people who’d never see them otherwise, it’s funny to see somebody in a big-ish band get their wig blown entirely off their skull.
