Juggalette Sues The Insane Clown Posse but Still Remains Down

A Juggalette recently got the bone at an ICP stop in Dallas. Apparently she was standing off to the side of the crowd to avoid being sprayed with Faygo. When confetti at the show started dropping, she moved forward to feel that confetti and BAM! She was struck in the eye socket with a flying, full 2L of Faygo. She immediately began bleeding profusely causing her to lose her vision for the time being and experience some pretty excruciating pain.

After weeks of hospital visits it was discovered that she actually suffered a fair bit of retinal detachment.

This Juggalette says that she’s made several demands on the defendants to resolve her claims, but was met with “denial and avoidance.” She is now suing the Insane Clown Posse for negligence and assault.

Another one to add to the list, homies.

After all of this though, this ninjette we’re calling D. Darling, says she’s still down with the clown.

I honestly don’t think she will have a case. If she is a juggalette, it can be reasonably assumed that she knew this was not only possible, but expected at their concert. Or at least that’s what the lawyers will say.

Sucks she has to pay for this, but ICP shouldn’t have to either. Should they out of conscience? I don’t know. I can’t imagine how much in medical bills they would have had to shell out over the years.

Come on… anybody goes to an ICP show KNOWS what is going to happen and she knowingly put her self in that environment. Thats on her. Dont sue the clowns for doing what they have been famously known for doing sincw the start of their career.

The comments, holy shit. Everybody knows the risk, but lets see how you feel with your eyeball hanging out, youre temporarily blinded, and lets say you DONT have the money to see the doctors this many times, and its putting you in a financial bind, all because you spent your hard earned money for a concert.

Not every case deserves a lawsuit, but maybe some should be considered. I don’t see the hate for this person, we don’t know her story. If she was legitimately injured by something thrown off of the stage, perhaps they should cover her medical costs.

    Just playing brock lesnars advocate.

Geez – maybe I should go skateboarding and fall hit my head on the cement and sue the skateboard company because I got hurt. Yeah, that is my new business start up plan. Then after that shoot my toe off and sue the gun company…

okay, yeah, we all know the risks, and anybody doesnt is livin dangerously…
but cmon, were still talkin bout a fairly serious injury to a lette. we dont need to be shittin on her that hard.
stale situation all round, but caffey is right; no particular reason for us to hate on her for it.
even if shes a horrid person, she already took a hit, and probably aint winnin the suit anyway.

They’ll settle out of court with her, if y’all remember there was a story years back my boy broke his leg while we were sneaking on stage at gotj and sued them. They settled and gave him a bit of money. And mind you he wasn’t even supposed to be on stage. However I don’t even speak to that dude anymore and consider him a hoe for that shit. Just like this bitch is dumb af. It doesn’t matter if you got hurt. You knew the risks associated with being at the concert, you decided to put yourself in that situation. It matters NOT how bad she got hurt or if she can’t pay her medical bills. Nobody did it to her purposely and she needs to suck it the fuck up and quit looking for free handouts. Certainly no lette in my book.

Now, I ain’t a lawyer. But based on what I do know about the legal shit, both of these people are in a bad situation.

She’s pressured to sue because the entire american legal and healthcare system is propped up in such a way that if she doesn’t at least try to sue for medical reimbursement, she’s going to be fucked over financially for life, pure and simple.

the problem is psychopathic also CAN’T just pay the bills. From a legal perspective if they give her anything, that’s “accepting blame”, and opens a whole other can of worms, if people get injured again courts can see that as precedent, I’m sure their lawyers have advised them of all of this and more which is why they’d seem to be dodging blame and leaving her out on her own.

Damn this story finally pops up lol. But yeah from The Marvelous Missing Link Tour til now I think the statue of limitations may have already to settle in but I just honestly don’t see her winning or receiving much of anything. Still sucks though, and hope for speedy recovery. Both perceptions on here are good, but if you’re going to an ICP show it’s basically second nature to know that Faygo (empty, full, or partially) is gonna be flying through the air, and if it’s a jam packed venue that night, somebody getting hit. But the 2 times I’ve seen ICP people are paying attention to the show, and are plucking them bottles out of the air or scrambling to get em. Can’t wait for them Parental Advisory Tour dates.

Yea, if there is extreme irreversible damage that will screw her over financially, ICP should take care of it. I’m sure they have gotten so many “I got hit with Faygo” emails every single year they don’t even know which ones to take serious, so they dismissed this one as well. I’m sure once they see the severity they will settle up.

So, does this mean I can sue ICP as well for what happened to me at a show? Went to a show in Grand Rapids, MI and right before they started to play Thy Unveiling and this was WAY back in the day, but still, someone decided it would be fun to crowd surf, or, attempt to crowd surf and jumped from behind me and in the process, kicked out the plug I had in my right ear lobe. I had to quickly find the plug, go to the bathroom, and attempt to put it back in and I missed the last song. There was blood too and I could not get the plug back in, etc.

Now, since the music that ICP played, it caused someone to stage dive and that happened to me. I wonder if I can sue too? Nahhhhhhhh. When you go to a show and you KNOW what to EXPECT, then how in the heck can you attempt to sue? Yes, she was injured and that sucks, but its not like she did not know what an ICP show is like because they have been doing this for years and years.

Heck, at another show, not the same one as above, but a different one, I made it to the front row and one of the clown guys that were on stage with both J and Shaggs and were also throwing out Faygo upon the crowd, well, they had this massive blue bucket and a good size one at that, filled with Faygo and I was the recipient of quite a bit of Faygo being poured over me. I was soaked and drenched and my shirt I had worn was ruined, but no lawsuit and why? Because I KNOW what to EXPECT when going to a ICP show. Plus, this is the reason why there is insurance when a group tours – to cover things such as this

and I do know for a fact that ICP/Psychopathic Records has that sort of insurance since I used to work at Wings Stadium, in the main front office, and one day was going through old contracts and tour riders and came across ICP’s and yeah, they carry insurance. What was funny was that when I was looking at the rider, etc, Psychopathic Records ended up calling me and wanted to get a copy of that old rider, etc, faxed over to them, so I did that and that made my day
