Over the weekend, we got a surprise new music video from Violent J (mostly) and Shaggy 2 Dope! They shot a beautifully edited video showcasing different cities that they’ve traveled, and did a cover song of a track called “No Type,” redubbing it “4 Life.”
Now this just shows you how out of the loop I am from the mainstream. The track that was covered has over 500 Million views on YouTube, and I can honestly say that I’ve never heard it. Have you? Check it out here:

Yes, the track came out on April Fool’s Day, but there was no mention of that in the post from ICP’s Facebook:

The original song came out like 4 years ago.
You can tell by J’s voice he recorded this on tour.
Honestly it just seems like him fucking around and having fun, and he decided to release it.
I thought it was really lame at first, but it’s actually pretty entertaining.
I am hoping skinny J will kick some dope rhymes on the new Psy Projects.
