Psychopathic Reveals Plans To Debut New Artists Sooner Than We Think!

In the latest Hatchet Herald, which was posted today, Psychopathic Records revealed plans to announce new artists sooner than any of us think. Check it out below.

But wait! Don’t you even THINK that the Hatchet is done discovering and developing dope new artists cuz we AIN’T! NOT BY A FUCKIN LONG WAY! As we speak, our new protégé Blahzay Roze is writing scary ass rhymes for her first full length album and Psychopathic plans on introducing more new acts to the Juggalo world sooner than you think! Because the fact is…WE LOVE THE ARTISTIC SATISFACTION OF DISCOVERING A TALENTED PERFORMER AND HELPING THEM BLOSSOM!

Also, I felt the need to highlight the following section of the Hatchet Herald. This part, which came before the mention of new artists is discussing how Psychopathic has helped groom and mentor a plethora of successful artists.

For over 20 years, Psychopathic has nurtured the careers of rappers who went on to become true underground rap icons in their own right, including Myzery, Boondox, Blaze Ya Dead Home, and probably the best example, our homies Twiztid, who left Psychopathic to form their own successful imprint Majik Ninja Entertainment—and God bless them for all the success they’re achieving on their own. What we’ve discovered by working with so many talented artists over the years is that the best way to help them grow is to assist them in developing their stage persona—be it Boondox’ psychotic scarecrow or Big Hoodoo’s voodoo magician—show them everything that ICP has learned throughout the years and then, once that artist is confident and strong enough to make their own choices, let them spread their wings and fly onward towards their own artistic path. See, we basically act like a mentor to these artists, Juggalos. Now that CDs are no longer relevant to 95 percent of the music buying public and all music is basically free on the internet, after we’ve shown the artist how to post their own music on iTunes, shoot their own videos, book their own tours, there’s nothing much left for us to do. So watching them go start their own labels and do their own thing is fucking awesome and makes us proud as shit! A lot of our Psychopathic Family artists have already been doing this all along. ABK’s schooling it with his own Native World, Inc. roster. Big Hoodoo is a self contained one-man-show, booking all of his own shows, producing and financing all his own albums, and just doing it HIS way. AND THAT’S WHAT ARTISTS SHOULD DO: Control their own destinies.

With all of that being said, Does anyone have any guesses as to who the new artists could be?

Wonder if it won’t be Tha Hav Knots dropping their debut EP that Big Hoodoo mentioned at the GOTJ this year. Or maybe Vanilla Ice is finally dropping that debut Psychopathic Records album. Be really dope if it was my boy Freddy Grimes. Shit who knows maybe it’s JJ dropping some new music. Maybe VJ and Jumpsteady formed a group. Could be another unknown like Blahzay Roze or could be someone like Bukshot, Necro, Paris, Jelly Roll etc. Maybe they resigned a former act like Project Born, The Dayton Family, Myzery, Chop Shop etc. Shit who knows, I’m just spouting random shit out. Can’t wait either way though.

It’s probably someone that came in around the same time as Blahzay Roze did or a group composed of artists already on the label. But see J and Shaggy have been working on their solo albums (since last year) then got BR done early this year (which probably took a month or so), now about to start on the new The Killjoy Club album in November, probably working on a new sideshow EP or throwing around ideas about the new Joker Card. The guys stay busy, it’s just what they show us that makes most people think they are slacking.

They will probably slap some face paint on a washed up rapper from the 90s.

Jake, I’m not sure if the Hav Knots would be on PSY or Native World.

I’m not either but I figured with ABK, Big Hoodoo and Bonez Dubb all on PSY right now and with Hoodoo saying that they almost released a EP at the GOTJ but didn’t cuz of mixing issues, just had me assuming that it’d be on PSY right now. May be a joint deal with PSY and NWI.
