Juggalos: Keep Calm. A Separate Gathering WILL STILL HAPPEN. Help Wanted from Colorado Ninjas…

It seems as though last night’s Hatchet Herald has caused a bit of an uproar on social media.  There were some key words there that I wanted clarification on, so this morning, I’ve been on the phone with some people to hopefully put a lot of those rumors to rest.

The first person that I reached out to was J-Webb, since he is the one who published the latest edition of the Hatchet Herald.  Some of the points he wanted to get across are:

  • This is the first time Psychopathic has every tried to organize a public demonstration/rally.  There are still SO many details to be worked out, and they are exploring all angles. Right now everything is in the preliminary stages though.
  • The Hatchet Herald clearly states that combining the events is a possibility, not definite.

After that conversation, I hit up the man responsible for ALL things Gathering related himself: JUMPSTEADY.  He echoed that everything was still in the VERY EARLY planning stages, but wanted to make SURE that Juggalos knew the following:

  • A separate Gathering of the Juggalos WILL STILL HAPPEN!
  • They are STILL trying to find a spot in Colorado where it will all go down, but so far it’s been a bunch of dead ends.
    • If you know ANY spots in Colorado that may be suitable for a Gathering, please email [email protected]
  • If Colorado doesn’t happen, there are still spots in the country that have already said that they would love to host the Gathering of the Juggalos.
  • Even if it came down to it, and the Gathering and the March did happen at the same time, they would be separate events, making the march completely optional.

Though if you ask me, if you can keep it together and stay straight for long enough, you SHOULD be at that march if you can make it to DC.

So that’s the word straight from the ninjas at Psychopathic Records.  There are still several months of hard work ahead of them, and we’ll probably know a lot more by the end of the year.  For now, everybody relax, and we’ll bring you any updates about the March and Juggalo Gathering as they become available.

Still not convinced the march will see the light of day. With that said though, if they knew they were planning a march (which as it says above is something they’ve never attempted and there are crazy details to work out) why not just book GOTJ for Thornville again? Too late now, but why not go with the location that was a sure thing and get that stage of planning put of the way early to focus on DC?

deathmetaljuggalo, good link. Planet Bluegrass Ranch would be amazing! Kind of small though, but some of those are promising… State Bridge is going for sure. I’ve said since they announced this that finding a venue in CO is going to be a nightmare. Hopefully they pull it off.

How about Kansas? I’ve got word from a few people that they want the GOTJ here (the people that own the land). They have a couple hundred acres of land that would be perfect out by Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. Just gunna hafta wait and see.

Law enforcement in Kansas is notoriously harsh. I’d pass and it’s a short drive. Whatever works though I guess.

Yeah they can be. That’s mostly Jackson County by KC. They are real assholes. They will try to give you like 5 years on a 1st offense if you have a gram of weed. Idk if it’ll happen but Ik they are trying. Hopefully it’ll be within decent driving distance. Can’t wait, hopefully they announce it at Hallowicked.
