I’ve got some heartbreaking news to share in the underground. 23 year old juggalo Chris Churchill from Ohio passed away earlier this week in his home. Chris was down with the hatchet for over a decade; however, he finally got to witness Insane Clown Posse for the first and only time last week on ICP‘s first Riddle Box tour date in Cleveland, Ohio. He managed to get on stage towards the end of the show, and told me he had the time of his life.
From a personal standpoint, Chris was a close friend of mine. In our somewhat small town, there weren’t too many people down with the hatchet. Once I met Chris, we formed a friendship due to our love of the scene. He is one of the reasons I continued to have interest in the music, and if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have asked to be a part of the Faygoluvers crew, or be indulged as I am today. He was a good friend, and always willing to help another out. He easily put a smile on someone’s face, and gave concern when necessary. Being bold and driven was one of his strongest traits. I’m gonna miss him, and things won’t be the same whatsoever. Many of your friends and family will be thinking of you, especially on your birthday tomorrow.
His obituary can be found below. His family is not asking for direct donations, but encourages others to donate towards a charity of their choosing.
I hope you have finally found your peace, Chris.
