Johnny Richter Releases “School’s Out (Still Laughing)” & Streams Album Online

Johnny Richter released his new solo album “School’s Out (Still Laughing)” on Suburban Noize Records exclusively through FYE stores this week. To celebrate the release of the record, Johnny Richter is streaming his new album in its entirety online at https://youtu.be/iB26rdhdsQE. “School’s Out (Still Laughing)” was in the marijuana mecca of Humboldt, CA with production work by UnderRated from Potluck and is available online at http://flyt.it/SchoolsOutStillLaughing.

During his decade long career, Johnny Richter has been at the forefront of an underground musical movement that has seen him grab the #1 independent album in the country on the Billboard charts, garner a Gold certified album, headline the Cannabis Cup, and grace the cover of High Times Magazine with his former group. In 2010 Richter released his solo debut “Laughing”, which produced the epic action sports and lifestyle anthems “At It Again” and “Let’s Go”. He hit the road co-headlining the Strange Noize Tour with Strange Music’s resident genius Krizz Kaliko, playing to sold-out venues across the country. He came back in 2013 with his intensely personal “FreeKing Out” EP and rocked out with fans at the Gathering of Juggalos and flew to Detroit, MI for Twiztid’s annual 4-20 bash.

May check this out. Not really into KMK’s music anymore, but checked out their set at GOTJ. Richter is definitely missed in the group.

Kmk’s best album (Royal Highness) doesn’t even have Richter on it. He was great but Krown Power shows that they do not need him. Him leaving gave KMK a fresh start, something that they needed. All they really lost was someone who can actually sing.

I also like that they now fill his verses with random verses from other tracks, creating live mash-ups.
