News From the Axe Murder Boyz Seminar

Yesterday at the Gathering, Axe Murder Boyz held their yearly seminar. There were a few announcements, so here’s the basic rundown of it:

  • Young Wicked revealed his Faygoluvers’ Underground Album of the Year Award. He was super excited about it, and carries it with him proudly. His debut solo album Slaughter deserved it rightfully so.
  • The next Axe Murder Boyz album is called Muerte. It’s suppose to be their darkest album yet, in contrast to their more optimistic and positive tracks.
  • Muerte is predicted to come out in the middle of 2017. It’s slated to come out on Psychopathic Records again.
  • AMB‘s next mixtape is Cutt & Stitched, Vol. 2 and a variety of new and old tracks will be on it.
  • Plans to re-release AMB‘s older albums. There is uncertainty if it’ll be a box set or individual releases. God’s Hand is basically out of print, as well.
  • Bonez Dubb is working on his own mixtape as well. It’s going to surround controversy and conspiracies.
  • Tha Hav Knots almost released an EP at the Gathering, worked on by Young Wicked. Only two tracks got done due to mixing complications.
  • Young Wicked also worked on both Behind the Paint and Big Hoodoo‘s new album Asylum. There’s a track on the album featuring the entire Psychopathic family called “Monster Squad” as well.
  • Young Wicked is planned to be on the second leg of the Riddle Box Tour.
  • Revamping the Canonize label. New releases from J Dirty, Trox, F.L.O.W., Mindshot, and Pray.
  • Maybe a new Killjoy Club album, but nothing is in the works yet.

The video will be reuploaded after the Gathering. Keep on the lookout very soon for updates from the other seminars as well. As always, you can also access our Facebook page to see live streams of each seminar plus the archives.

I still think they were better when they did stuff like unforgiven forest. One can only hope the new album is something like that or better but I doubt it.

Dope. Can’t wait to bump Muerte. Hope the music is as good as Gods Hand and The Garcia Brothers. Dope all round. Can’t wait.
