I thought this was too fresh not to post about! An artist who goes by “Betsy The Beaver” posted a piece of artwork that she has been working on featuring a very lovable, huggable rendition of Violent J.
The cartoon features Violent J straight out of a Disney cartoon patting Betsy the Beaver reassuringly, and shows some of the lyrics to “We Belong” on top.
Betsy did a small article about her art, and what the Insane Clown Posse means to her. You can see it for yourself at BetsyTheBeaver.com. Here’s an excerpt:
As silly as these guys may be, ICP honestly did wonders for me as an adult coming out of an isolated childhood. Between growing up with an abusive grandparent, a learning disability, oppressive religion, a wild imagination, rough time making friends and standing up for myself, etc etc, and later being very confused about my sexuality and identity, I felt like I didn’t fit any place.
For an aggressive, murderous rap duo with clown paint they sure knew how to reach a mixed-up pup like me. For once I felt like while claiming juggalo status I could finally be myself.
If you want the full-sized version of this for your computer wallpaper or just to share out, you can get that below:
