A ninja named Tanner picked up the latest issue of Thrasher Magazine, and found an article in there called “Juggalos & Busted Toes”. From what I can gather, the company Birdhouse (owned by Tony Hawk) sent some representatives to the midwest, and Thrasher was there to document it. Even though “Juggalos” was in the title of the article, there wasn’t much about us in there. Basically a quick paragraph with some less-than-favorable stereotypes about us. This is what was said:
While Tony was busy skating the bowl and entertaining the crowd, two clown-rock enthusiasts were dropping in without looking, trying to be a part of the action. Sorry dudes, but just because you’re almost the same age as Hawk doesn’t mean that anybody wants to see you barely carving the scumline. Luckily, the jingling sound of a Juggalo’s chain wallet is a fairly good alert signal, so Hawk was able to avoid any serious collisions. Next time, at least give Tony a “Whoop! Whoop!” before you join him for a doubles routine. Or just sit on the sidelines and sip some Faygo.
Hilarious. Tanner didn’t include the entire article when he sent the pictures in…only the Juggalo references. You can see all of them here.
If you want to see the rest of the article, you’ll have to find a place that sells magazines and pick the latest Thrasher up!
