    I was getting into the Die Antwoord style for a couple months and then I noticed Yolandi wearing an upside down cross on her shirt next to their logo. They were done after that with me. Already been through that noise with black metal years ago. “Be kind to animals/Hail satan!” seems to be a weird angle with me, movin’ on..

    Blacksand, do a bit of research, everything they do (if you hadnt already garnered it from well everything about them) is a joke. ‘ninja’ has been rapping under different aliases for years, hes a modern art student, die antwoord was merely the most successful of there random ventures, check out maxnormal.tv for some of his older stuff. not quite as weird as die antwoord but still got that ninja flavour we’ve all come to know and be slightly repulsed by.

    i wouldnt hold much substance to any ‘satanical’ imagery they use, its just that, imagery. i would rank some other stuff theve done far worse. dick forrest in evil boy perhaps? or the giant dick monster in the same video, they skullduggery mask hitech wear half the time. yolandi covered in blood in like half the videos they do. ninja killing people as a dog. and the list goes on.

    It’s a St. Peter’s cross you dumb shit.

    It’s a Lutheran symbol, which is one of the many different Christian sub genres.

    The St. Peter’s Cross comes from St. Peter asking to be crucified upside-down because he felt that he wasn’t worthy of dying like Christ.

    It’s only really considered unholy if it has Christ on it because then it’s blaspheming Christ, but just a regular inverted across isn’t really Satanic, more or less an antichristian symbol for people that want to offend Christ or shock value Satanists but it really comes from the Lutherans.

    Even then, it’s pretty bigoted to disregard music that you may have liked just because of difference in religion.

    You must hate that new Boondox shirt with all the Thelemic symbols in his face paint than too.
