Tech N9ne Announces ‘Special Effects’ Album and Tour And Unveils Album Cover Art

Tech N9ne has announced some major details about his upcoming album. The album is entitled, Special Effects” it will be released on May 5th. Tech has also revealed the cover art and announced plans for the Special Effects” tour. The tour is scheduled to kick off on April 8th and conclude on June 3rd. This tour will also feature Krizz Kaliko, MURS, Chris Webby, Zuse, and King 810. You can check out the press release and promo video below.

Independent rap mogul Tech N9ne has announced the release of his next studio album, Special Effects, dropping worldwide on May 5, 2015. An all-star list of features and producers has yet to be disclosed, but the veteran rhymer says it will be his biggest album to date. “We’re not giving it all away just yet, but what I can say to all my Technicians who have been patiently waiting for this, get ready for your minds to be blown! We made some dreams come true on this album. You WILL NOT be disappointed. It’s a beautiful thing.” The Special Effects cover art was created by world-renowned artist, Rob Prior, who has collaborated with Tech N9ne recently on a series of special edition paintings.

2015 will also see another massive year of touring for Tech N9ne. The Kansas City rapper will be heading out on Tech N9ne’s Special Effects Tour 2015 this Spring. Tech will be joined by indie-rap mainstay Chris Webby, along with label mates Krizz Kaliko and MURS, Flint, Michigan’s King 810 and Jamaican rap-phenom, ZUSE. The tour will kick off April 8 and conclude on June 3. A complete tour itinerary will be announced in the coming weeks. Prior to the Special Effects Tour 2015, Tech will be heading back down-under for a tour throughout Australia and New Zealand in March.

    Lets see…The last album had some terrible features.Ill wait to get pumped for this til I see a Tracklist.KOD was the last album from tech I realy enjoyed.Them last 2 albums were Meh’

    It’s neither pop in the traditional sense, being popular music, nor pop in the music genre.

    It’s pop like, but not actually pop music.

    Either way, what novocaine is saying is that he doesn’t want to hear music that sounds like it could be used in kids bop from Tech.

    I disagree, but different stroking methods from different girls that give hand jobs. Some girls like to twist up and down the shaft, some girls like to lightly brush it with their fingers, some girls like to massage the tip with their thumb. But all hand jobs are appreciated. Well… most of them.

    KING 810 is so dope! Although ive yet to meet more than a couple peeps who share that opinion lol. Im excited for this tour and will be supporting those dudes to the fullest! Seen them last month in cbus OH and they tore shit up!!
