Sit back, relax and feel your blood pressure drop, for this is “Ultraviolet”! It’s production will take the soul on a journey, through a peaceful mind bending void, thanks to it’s psychedelic ambient nature. Sadistik’s lyrical brilliance inside Ultraviolet, will indeed satisfy the loyal day oners, but once the unfamiliar discover this release, a new legion all in the name of the rappers craft, will emerge. Ultraviolet is by no means a departure from Sadistik’s original Hip-Hop formula, however what makes this release unique, is you can’t really quite guess what is coming next. No track is filler, each track is playable all through.

Track List:

  1. Cult Leader
  2. 1984

Paying homage to George Orwell,“1984″, contains the Seattle emcees most addictive hook to date. Listeners may find themselves zoning out for hours on end, thanks to replaying the song over and over. Once the listeners notice the sunrise is creeping through their curtains, they will finally head to sleep, but the “1984″ replay will simply start over, as soon as they wake back up. It’s that damn good! Imagine wearing a pair of headphones, that plugs into your flesh and the beat pumps acid through your veins. While blasting the headphones, your on an never ending robot themed roller-coaster, tripping your balls off .“Cubical Zornica” is just like that, because Eric G’s production will take fans on an cyberpunk thrill ride. It meshes perfect with Sadistk’s calm smooth flow.

“Orange” featuring Child Actor is a classic! Maulskull’s production is soothing here. With it’s soothness, listeners can close their eyelids and picture every word. Sadistik’s lyrics for this track will remain permanently inside the mind, as if the rapper himself painted the bars on top of your brain, with the paintbrush mentioned in the track. Each bar literally just grabs hold.

“Chemical Burns” is just beautifully haunting. It’s destined to become the ultimate fan favorite inside Ultraviolet and the first track fans will go straight to at first listen. But why not?! You have Lotte Kesnerwith an eerie chorus and it’s Sadistik and Eyedea together one final time. They all bring forth pure fire! Sadistik’s verse goes straight to the throat and cuts without hesitation, while Eyedea’s verse will make the hair on the back of anyone’s neck stick up.

“Death Warrant” is that fist pumping street anthem that you bump to, when firing back during a police chase. Sadistik holds his own with Sticky Fingaz and Tech N9ne. But truth be told, Sticky Fingaz just straight up massacres, the beat with his signature flow. It’s as if Sticky became “Cropsy”, from “The Burning” and hacked his way through whack rappers with hedge clippers. Oh, where is that chopper flow?! Well, Sadistik stomps all over “Blue Sunshine” with his brand of chopper. Fans won’t be disappointed.

Final verdict; Ultraviolet is that breakthrough classic hidden deep within the morgue. It may be underneath the radar to some, but as soon as it catches on, Hip-Hop heads of all types will proudly bump it in the ride!
Don’t sleep!

Other Highlights include
“Witching Hour” featuring Nacho Picasso and “Nowhere”
