You’re kidding, right? Drive-By’s first album was absolute GARBAGE. Only thing they’ve done good was that track on the last DJ Clay mixtape and their Back On Da Block EP, not counting just normal Blaze+ABK tracks.

Lyrically, Pony Down was the worst thing Blaze & ABK have ever done. Not even the instrumentals were worth writing home about.

Pony down was one of the most unique albums to come out of PSY’s catalog. Plus they recorded it years before it was actually released so it was that old school shit.

Gangsta shit? Seriously? “Bullet lyrics”? For fuck’s sake, “Dumpin'” was better than Pony Down, and they weren’t even taking THAT album seriously.

How was it made so long before it was released? The album was produced by Team Supreme, which had Esham & Lavel, both of which were featured on the remix of “This High”. Esham & Lavel weren’t both around until what, 2003 or 2004 (but Lavel was never officially signed to Psy), then both left in 2006. So what, the album was recorded in a year. That isn’t old-school by any means.

I try my best not to shit on opinions, but I can’t help but say that Pony Down was utter shit. Fucking hell, THE MOTHERFUCKING CALM AND ROAD FOOLS ARE BOTH BETTER THAN PONY DOWN.

    Hate on.

I enjoyed Drive By, a lot. Pony down, was just old school gangsta shit. rollin down the street smokin indo, sippin on gin and juice kind of shit, old school 90’s shit. I like full cd’s where its not about horrorcore. I love when shit like this pops out and sounds true to other genres. I havent paid for music in a minute, and I’m gonna dip in to my bottle returns for this one. Yeah, ghetto music. Not white trash music, not, I’m gonna kill everyone music, straight ghetto bumps. Anyone who doesnt like this kind of music, doesnt appreciate the genre, thats all. all other points are inconsequential. if the first cd is any indication, buy the cd, and go for a slow cruise. and if you offended by the term white trash, there’s the mirror.

The only “old school” Blaze+ABK that exists is the songs they did together on 1 Less G and whatever tracks they were featured on before Killa left in 06.
