Gathering of the Juggalos Moving to a New Location

It seems the rumors are TRUE about the Gathering of the Juggalos moving. Insane Clown Posse just sent out a tweet confirming that there is a new location for the Gathering of the Juggalos.

We do not have anymore information at this time besides what ICP sent out via twitter. You can see the tweet below.

Detroit News: Insane Clown Posse may have new gathering spot

The Juggalos could be gathering somewhere else next year.

Insane Clown Posse has found a new spot to hold its annual Gathering of the Juggalos, according to a tweet from the group Wednesday. “Jumpsteady just returned from our brand new Gathering site and it’s a doozy!” read a post from ICP’s official Twitter. (Jumpsteady is the nickname of Robert Bruce, the brother of ICP frontman Joe “Violent J” Bruce.)

ICP has held its notorious annual event at a campgrounds in Cave-in-Rock, Ill., since 2007, but ran into issues this year after several vendors complained they weren’t paid for their services. The amount owed exceeded $300,000, one vendor told reporters. Prior to Cave-in-Rock, the event was held at sites in Garrettsville, Ohio, Peoria, Ill., Pataskala, Ohio, and Toledo. The first Gathering of the Juggalos was held at the Novi Expo Center in 2000.

Representatives from ICP’s Farmington Hills-based Psychopathic Records had no comment on the move.

Please be in Colorado. Somebody should enter Robert Bruce in the TSA database and confirm his flight plan. I don’t have access to such things.

I loved Cave in Rock, and since I missed last year, definitely kinda sad about this. I mean, fuck, I finally knew how to get there lol. Shit.

I can’t think of an appropriate venue in Denver, you have to know how hard it is for them to book there anymore anyways. You need a camping venue, preferably private property. They have conceivably found a spot in Colorado, but Denver? Are you serious? Where in Denver would the Gathering even work?

Well maybe not Denver per say, But Colorado in general would be a great place, It wont matter if in Denver or not, Colorado is a helluva lot closer to me then Cave In Rock was. Its 2600 mi. round trip to hogrock from SLC and back, 2k just in gas.

It’d be nice for it to be in NC but considering we hardly ever even get shows I know that wont happen…Tenn would be great too since it’s not too hard to get there…but Colorado or Cali would be cool for the weed smoking ninja’s out there, just make sure to get a “medical” card lol

You know when you have a great party spot, and everything is perfect, then over time more and more people start bringing more and more friends? Over time the spot gets blown up. Played out. The cops become wise and spontaneity and freshness are slowly replaced with stale traditions and newbs with all kinds of entitled expectations. Have you ever known a spot like that? In my opinion, Hogrock has been playing itself out for a while. There’s a natural and organic evolution to things like this, and its a good time to shake things up. I liked GOTJ better when it flew under the radar. No tourists, no media.
