Did Twiztid predict their departure from Psychopathic 9 years ago?

OK, I know I’m a few days behind on this, but I definitely didn’t want to let it go unspoken.  Ever since Twiztid announced their departure from Psychopathic Records, there has been ALL SORTS of speculation running rampant in the Juggalo community.  Everything from who to blame, to if Blaze will join them, and much, much more.  One of the more interesting points that Juggalos dug up is that this has been planned for a VERY long time.  Over 9 years, to be more precise.  What in the sam fuckin’ hell am I talking about?  Here’s how the story goes.

Twiztid announced that they would be leaving Psychopathic Records 5 days ago on December 12th, 2012.  I don’t have any clue how he remembered this, but our homie DVLH seemed to recall that they had talked about this date at a Gathering of the Juggalos over 8 years ago!  This is where it came from though.  Back when the original “Afraid Of Me” music video dropped from The Green Book album, there were all kinds of things written on the walls behind the animated Jamie Madrox and Monoxide characters.  One of them was a date.  Here’s where shit gets deep.  Check out a screen shot that has been flipped 180 degrees from the video:

December22nd2012

Now to me, it looks like December 22nd, 2012 no matter what way you look at it.  But that’s just one ninja’s opinion.  I’ll even zoom it in for you a little bit:

December22nd2012-zoom

See?  Even if that first character is a fucked up “1”, I don’t see how the characters behind it are “th”.  They look like “nd” to me.  Either way though, the wall says the following:

“DECEMBER ____  THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT WILL CHANGE FOREVER”

Now maybe…just maybe Twiztid were on some Mayan shit way back before its time.  They could have heard about the fact that December 21st is the last day of the Mayan calendar and threw it into their music video.   Hold up though…they were asked about it at the 2004 Gathering of the Juggalos, and had this to say about it:

The ninja who asked the question could have easily just forgotten what date it said on the wall, or misinterpreted it as a 12 instead of a 22.  Regardless, Madrox and Monoxide rolled with it and said that it was a forecast, and that if you lived that long and kept up with them, you’d see.

My gut tells me that they were on some Mayan shit, but I’d like to know what you all think about this!

One other note that I want to share before ending this conversation is the fact that when they put out “Psychopathic: The Videos” DVD, the entire background of that, and a few other parts of the video were changed.  Here are screen shots from the exact same point (with the backwards writing on the wall) on the OG, and the re-release to show you:

Rerelease:

AfraidOfMePsyVideo

So…why would they change it when they put the video out on a DVD?  It’s another interesting aspect for sure.  Now, let us know what you think about this whole situation!  Was it all preconceived?  Do you think that’s a 12, and not a 22?  Was this announcement just a coincidence of something that was filmed and released more than 9 years ago?

I think it could be anything from them not renewing the contract, the end of their equivalent of the joker cards, DJ AM (the director) just making shit up or just to be cryptic philosophers. Till twiztid speaks we will never know.

and btw, the mayan thing, 1. its 12-21-12 prophecy, 2. The mayans, to the best of my knowledge, did not count in the leap years that we created, thus the end of the world was about 11 months ago…. what did you think?? lol

@ willaberags, yes it does look like 12-22-12, what i am saying is the mayan “end of the world” is supposed to be 12-21-12, so i doubt its that, unless somebody in video production made a mistake, and instead of fixing it they just changed ALL the backgrounds…. lol ill wait a few days and see what happens haha
