What's goin on Juggalos? It's FRIDAY afternoon, and everybody and their mom decided to update their websites today! Most of it relates back to the same thing though, and believe it or not, that's not even the BIGGEST news of the day. For that, let's turn to this edition to:

SOOPA VILLAINS Info Leaked??!: Alright, now let me preface this by saying that this ninja who sent in the info, chickenplucka, has sent in legit info before. Today, he sent in an email with a transcript from an Australian music magazine called "Rip It Up"! You're gonna flip when you read this:

AUSINDIE: Shock Records today announced that the upcoming CD named 'Soopa Villianz' featuring members from Strange Records and Psychopathic Records labels would be distributed exclusively in Australia.

Psychopathic Records is home to such groups as the Insane Clown Posse who toured Australia in 2003 causing unrest in many of the nations capitals.

In a move believed to be in response to the low sales of Psychopathic Records albums in Australia, Shock contacted Psychopathic Records offering an undisclosed amount of money for the rights to be the sole distributors of the album. Shock claim the buyout was made in order to 'encourage export of the CD overseas', including the USA.

Nobody from Psychopathic Records was available for comment.
There are 2 significant pieces of info in that transcript. First, they mentioned that Soopa Villains will consist of people from Psychopathic Records and Strange Records (aka Strange Music). Could Psychopathic and Tech N9ne have possibly worked something out?? It's surprising that we haven't heard anything about it, but we'll let you know if we hear anything else. Now, what's the deal with having to export the CD from Australia, even to the U.S.? I know locally here in Dallas, Shock distributes to places like Tower Records. So hopefully we won't have to pay like 30 bucks for it. lol. Anyway, along with the Tech news, we'll definitely let you know about it.

Underground Psychos: Round 2: Over at UndergroundPsychos.com, they've got the top 3 out of the last 10 contestants posted, as well as the next 10 contestants to view bios and vote on! There are a few sites that say basically the same thing, but to make sure the bases are covered, here's what UndergroundPsychos.com has got:

5/20/05 WAVE 1 WINNERS AND WAVE 2 CONTESTANTS!

All the votes for Round 2, Wave 1 have been tabulated, and without further ado, the first three contestants to make it to Round 3 (in alphabetical order) are:

    • Dark Hills Gang

    • J Reno the Sadist

    • Playaz Lounge Crew

Congratulations to the contestants that have advanced! We are looking forward to hearing more from them once Round 3 starts on June 3. As for now, though, Wave 2 of Round 2 is in full effect! We have the next batch of 10 for y'all to check out, and they are:

    • Chuck Dirty

    • Dead by Wednesday

    • Dead Heat

    • Dinerologic

    • HaVoK

    • Il Duce

    • Morbid

    • Novocain

    • The Nillaz

    • TurnCoatDirty

Head over to the Contestants section to see all the new pics, bios, hear the tracks, and of course read the comments from the Lotus Pod. As was the case before, voting will run for one week, from today through next week Thursday. So check out the new contestants and vote for who you think deserves to advance to Round 3!
Well, the group I voted for made it in, and holy shit, DineroLogic has got my vote for this round. But then again, I've always been a fan of Ghost Fleet's music. So best of luck to ya ninja! Don't take my word on it though, because there are some other very qualified contenders up in that bitch! Just click Right Here and getcha votin' on! Also, InsaneClownPosse.com has put this up:

    Underground Psychos Rollin' Along

    • HaVoK

So head over to the Underground Psychos website and peep all the new pics, bios, comments, and tracks, and cast your vote for who you think should move on!
EshamTheBoogieMan.com and HatchetWarrior.com will probably eventually have that same post up later today. And finally, Twiztid.com has made mention of the Underground Psychos contest as well. Take a look:

    Fri., May. 20, 2005 @ 12:00 PM

    Riddle time?
What is the most cutting edge innovating idea going on in the underground music scene today?
If you responded = Underground Psychos, then you're already hip to the freshness that has been taking place on the web lately, courtesy of the Hatchet. Combining the power of choice with the chance to upgrade a talented local group or artist to a nationwide underground superstar or stars is the absolute bomb for sure! Get ready as we begin wave 2 in the search for the newest addition of the Psychopathic Records Family. Comments from the Hatchet's own ICP, Twiztid, Blaze, ABK, Lavel, and Jumpsteady can be viewed on the site as well as pictures, bios, and tracks from each artist, or group for your viewing and listening pleasure. Keep your eyes peeled to UndergroundPsychos.com for more on the hottest contest going down.
Whew...alright. Now that we've got all of that covered for the contest, go fuckin listen Juggalos! 56Kers, before you get your weekend started, set all 10 of those things to download, and by the time you bring your drunk ass home on Sunday night, they'll be all finished up!

Man's Myth & Mutant ad in High Times: A ninja with the email addy of DARKLOTUS7598@aol.com emailed me with a scan for the upcoming Twiztid albums: Man's Myth & Mutant! It was from the most recent issue of High Times, and it looks like I may have posted it before. Looks a little familiar, but I'm not really sure. You be the judge:

Click the pic to enlarge!

Looks pretty fuckin pump tight! It definiteyl catches your eye. Whew, as you can see I'm out of things to say about it, so onto the next news piece.

JuggaloGathering addresses KMK situation: At JuggaloGathering.com, they have made mention of what we posted about the KottonMouth Kings tour being cancelled yesterday. Unfortunately, that also means that KMK's appearance at the Juggalo Gathering will be cancelled as well. Here's what was put up:

    KMK Update
    May 20, 2005

We got some bad news from our homies, the Kottonmouth Kings, earlier this week. Here's the news from their website:

"We regret to inform everyone in the King Klick that the Summer Tour has been postponed. D Loc has severely injured his foot and has to have reconstructive surgery. D Loc wanted to do the tour in a wheelchair and went to a number of different specialists to get different opinions. All of them said he could not due the tour. We wanted all of you to hear it directly from us to avoid any rumors of why the tour is being postponed. We will miss everyone on the road this summer but we will be back as soon as D Loc has recovered. For all the So Cal King Klick we will be doing a CD release party at the Key Club on June 10th. The Kings will be in the house to celebrate the release of the new record and the rest of the Suburban Noize bands will be performing. Stay tuned for personal messages from the band coming soon. In the meantime go get the new record on May 31 and smoke one for D Loc. Stay Down for Krown."

So, unfortunately, the Kottonmouth Kings won't be at the Gathering this year, as originally planned. We here at Psychopathic send out our best wishes to D Loc for a speedy recovery.
Damn, not that I thought that it would be any different, but maybe in the next 2 months they'll be able to make SOME sort of recovery and get that fucker on stage.

Section updates: At the suggestion of some recent emails, I went in and updated the ICP Albums section, as well as the Filmography section. There were a few DVD/CD combo things that we had forgotten to put in the Filmography one. So check that out if you're bored. Also, we're working on getting some of those A-1 Yola Videos put up in our Music Videos section. Shhhh!

Alright, that's all I've got Juggalos! Have a great weekend, and I'm sure one of us will be back before the weekend is out. Until then, I'm out like The Riddler. (Thanks to Scotty 2 Dope for sending that link in!) Peace yall!

What a weak batch of Underground Psycho contestants. Dinerologic was the diamond in the rough. He got my vote.

Posted By Tueek on at 2005-05-20 23:08:48
Hell yeah, that would be fresh if Tech was a Soopa Villian and this time Dead Heat got my vote

Posted By nickbarron on at 2005-05-21 00:46:28
yea i checked every damn where pretty much then 2day i found it at FYE i also saw cryptik collection 2 monoxides cover but i had 2 choose only one so i got the calm n now i'm workin on gettin cc2

Posted By LongDongSliver on at 2005-05-21 01:51:20
It would also be cool hearing Big Crizz Calico singing the hooks for ICP and E on Soopa Villianz. But it's not smart to substitute a Big Mac for Filet Mignon.

Posted By MrHalloween31 on at 2005-05-21 03:16:39
If Tech brought Kutt and Krizz into soopa villians just to do a few verses maybe a chorus or something I think a lot of juggalos would dig that shit.

Posted By JD on at 2005-05-21 03:45:46
RIP Riddler.

Anyway, The Nillaz got my vote because I have been listening to them non-stop for a few hours now.

Posted By greenboy on at 2005-05-21 06:33:03

Prosk....A little word of advise. If it pisses you off that much, and you want to get your word out,

DONT JUST TYPE IN ALL CAPS AND MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE A FUCKIN RETARDED 7 YEAR OLD

That is really unattractive to the eyes, and most people will skip over something like that, assuming it's all immature bullshit, or just fuckin stupid.

If it pisses you off that much, just explain it in an eye catching but NOT annoying mannor. And also, send that shit to psychopathic, get the bitch kicked off.

Posted By prosk on at 2005-05-21 22:13:20
yeah i didnt mean to type in caps... i wasnt even watching the screen i was just typing. but hey just look at it this way... by typing in caps i got a responce for the first time. by typing normaly noone ever did soooo yeh

man, my life sucks i cant goto the gathering, my gf dumped me XD i wanna die ^_^

Posted By prosk on at 2005-05-21 23:09:36
even says in the FAQ section of underground psychos..........

question'
What exactly counts as a "sample"? Can we use another rapper's beats if we write our own lyrics?

answer'
A sample is any music or beat that appears on someone else's record. So, if the beat has already appeared on someone else's record, then you cannot use that beat.

Posted By MrHalloween31 on at 2005-05-21 23:33:07
So the Rydas can't enter the contest?

how is jaime foxx in the calm?

Posted By DarkLotusXIII on at 2005-05-22 06:11:19
Was that his voice in the store? I thought it was weird he said, "You look like you were in that one movie with Jamie Foxx..." And they had a menacing laugh about that on the skit... and the voice sounded familiar. Was that him?

Posted By nickbarron on at 2005-05-22 06:26:17
yea i think it sounds like jamie foxx not 4 sure but sounds like him

Posted By nickbarron on at 2005-05-22 06:30:54

Posted By j_breed on at 2005-05-22 11:28:12
I like 'ghostfleet' but not that track from 'Dinerlogic'.
'Il Duce' got my vote with their fresh chorus. They should have put it on loop for another minute or so.

Posted By Menthol_X on at 2005-05-23 00:58:28
I doubt very much that it was Jamie Foxx. And did anyone else think that Mutant might be the same lyrics from Man's Myth just on rock beats? Maybe not, but you never know. Plus, I'm really looking forward to Mutant because I thought "Darkness" was an amazing song. I've started to hate the Juggalo.com comments section, it's kind of annoying. It's a lot more mature here, with an occasional idiot posting a comment. Oh well, not everybody acts more mature than a ten year old.

and FUCK wet grimlinz. DAMN!

Posted By ScottieD on at 2005-05-23 04:32:06
bahaha....yeah, i'm sick of hearing about the Wet Grimlinz too. I think that's one ofthe major advantages of having to login to post comments. But then again, that's not my call, and i'm not hating on 'em by any means. I actually do enjoy reading some of the randomness people post.
